I drew a softball, which is representative of the foundation that I co-founded, the Maine Strong Memorial Foundation. Myself and a few other members of the Lewiston and Auburn community came together to create the foundation after the mass shooting in 2023. A few of the victims of the shooting were members of the softball community. So two weeks after the shooting, a group of people came together and we hosted a softball tournament. At that softball tournament, we had such an incredible number of people throughout our community and communities throughout Maine come together and support us in the mission of what we were trying to do, which was to support the families and the survivors and all those that were impacted. And it was just such an incredible show of support. And since then, the foundation has continued to evolve. We are still operating today and we continue to see support throughout our community every single year that we host this tournament. So when I'm at that event, it just gives me such a sense of hope and love that we all hold and share together. And it's just, it's so inspiring. So that is why I drew what I drew.
