Well, I picked the little piece of wood because I really liked the shape of it. It was irregular and sort of balloon shaped, or light bulb shaped, and I thought that was really interesting. And I was thinking about what gives me hope in town. And you know, also thinking about the impetus for the project, the fact that there was the tragedy that there is in 2023 and what popped into my head is some friends and I, we have, like a rotating group, where we all have dinner at someone's house every week. And so I looked at the shape of the piece of the wood and thought about that, and I said, Well, I'm thinking about food. So I made a little thought bubble fit into the little light bulb shaped piece of wood. Yeah, I think you know, being able to eat together, being able to spend time together, having community, sort of having that commensal relationship, is really special, and it's a really wonderful thing. So it gives me hope. It gives me sort of a sense of place, that sense of community, sense of belonging, and it's also nice, because I think it's like a very universal thing too. We all eat, we all drink, we all sleep, and we all dream. So it's a little thought bubble dreaming of food. It's a universal, hopefully hopeful thing.
