Mazie

I drew the basilica because ever since I came to Lewiston, the basilica has always struck me as a really beautiful and kind of grand structure and symbol in Lewiston. I like that it's reaching up, that makes me think of hope, because I feel like hope. Hope, hope reaches up too and I draw, I think it's just beautiful, which is also hopeful. And I drew some crows nearby which also make me hopeful because they're this is their city too. And yeah, they're around throughout the winter, even when it's cold, there're a sign of life in Lewiston year round. And yeah, they make me hopeful too.
