So I drew a line of fruit trees on the side kind of flanking a road because what I’m really passionate about is people noticing the urban nature around them, and it gives me hope to see, you know, to see people kind of noticing the green, the bugs, the birds around and I think the way to get people to notice that is to make it food. Everybody loves fruit you know even if you don’t like fruit like you like fruit and part of that is putting in a place where people just can’t escape it, you know. Leave your house, there’s an apple tree right there. I think that my hope for my work and you know  for our work at Gather to Grow is that people can’t ignore the food, the nature, and the community that they bring.
