Three lines on the top of the pentacle is a duplicate symbol for the three first three rays of sunlight that come over the horizon in the morning, and they each one symbolizes positive or creation negative or destruction, and neutrality are in the balance in the middle. That's why there's three lines.

It's it's a pentacle within a pentacle. symbolizing both light and dark, and now the intrinsic nature of the universe, the patterns will very often flow both in the microcosm, and the macrocosm, such as that which is above, so below, as science and astrology and quantum physics are finding that much of what we see in larger patterns are also found in smaller micro patterns in the universe suggesting the high likelihood of an intelligent design as we see the patterns, such as the Fibonacci sequence in many different aspects of life and nature, and not simply chaotic patterns that don't line up, match, or have relative, correlation.
