Winter Tree’s Hope
Yeah, so i drew trees and water, because I think the Androscoggin River was a place that helped Lewiston, first the Native Americans who came, it was their passageway, and they did lots of things along the river. And then when Europeans came, they also settled on the river and so the river has been a place where people have seen hope and opportunity. And I think that now we're ready to have a different kind of hope and opportunity along the river, and letting it revegetate and have more trees and animals, and in the spring when the trees begin to leaf out, and the birds are coming out then it all seems like a time of hope and possibility. And so, I think that Lewiston likewise is a place of hope and possibility with change here along the river.
