I drew the Historic Quad at Bates, and I think that this represents hope to me because it's a very beautiful central area of our campus for our campus community member, staff, faculty students, to walk, but also anyone who lives in Lewiston or anyone who is visiting, it's just like an accessible central place. It's one of the first places I saw when I came here for the first time, and it was fall and it struck me how beautiful it was. And that's the image I'll always have of Bates in my first impression of Lewiston. 
So I just think it's a very lovely, welcoming place.
